The Niagara Health Knowledge Institute (NHKI) provides administrative and methodological support to researchers at Niagara Health to enable them to conduct studies that are, first and foremost, relevant to our local population in Niagara. The goal is to improve the patient experience and care locally while contributing to new and improved standards of practice.
Our initiatives and programs include clinical research programs, summer student scholarships and community hospital research capacity building. We also have our monthly Research in Progress Rounds where researchers and learners share their research and quality improvement projects. We plan to launch our research grant and education grant programs soon.
