Holiday Wishes from Niagara Health

Posted Dec 23rd, 2024

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on 2024 and express our deepest gratitude to everyone who makes Niagara Health an extraordinary organization, from our staff, physicians and volunteers to the patients and families we serve.

This year, Niagara Health celebrated many remarkable achievements, including earning Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, being recognized by Forbes Media as one of Canada’s Top Employers, and consecutive awards as one of Hamilton-Niagara's Top Employers and one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers. We also hosted our first annual DEI and health equity conference for our healthcare partners, a testament to our ongoing work to ensure every patient feels safe, respected and valued.

From the progress on the South Niagara Hospital, the launch of the Indigenous Health Services and Reconciliation Plan, the installation of a new MRI, the rollout of our Hospital Information System, these are the pivotal steps in how Niagara Health is shaping the future of hospital care in Niagara.

Each of these accomplishments demonstrate the passion, expertise and leadership our teams bring to Niagara Health, and the people we serve, every day.

The holiday season is a time for reflection, gratitude and connection. It reminds us of the importance of community and the impact we have on each other's lives. To our patients and their families, thank you for trusting us with your care. To our staff and physicians, thank you for your unwavering commitment to health and well-being. To our community partners and supporters, thank you for taking this journey with us.

As we look to 2025, we are filled with optimism at the continued transformation ahead. There will be new opportunities to innovate, grow and strengthen the services we provide. Together, we will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

On behalf of the entire leadership team at Niagara Health, we wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year.
