Niagara Health's Emergency Department wait time clock will be temporarily offline while it integrates with the new Hospital Information System

Niagara Health is introducing a new Hospital Information System (HIS) to enhance the way we deliver care. This significant upgrade will improve coordination, efficiency and access to information, making patient care safer and faster.

Thank you for your patience as we adjust to this new system. Our staff and physicians remain fully focused on providing the highest quality care to each patient.

As part of this transition, our online Emergency Department (ED) wait time clock will be temporarily offline while it integrates with the new system.

To support patients during this time, we will have volunteers stationed in our EDs to assist with any questions and provide guidance, allowing our staff and physicians to remain focused on patient care.

Know your healthcare options

Given the heightened concerns with the transmissibility of COVID-19 and the pressures on our Emergency Departments, we ask that you consider your healthcare options before visiting the hospital for non-emergency concerns.

If you require non-emergency care, please contact your primary care provider as your first point of contact.
