On July 23, 2020, the Minister of Health and Deputy Premier, Honourable Christine Elliott, announced that Niagara has received approval to move forward as an approved Ontario Health Team. Niagara Health is one of 45 partners who comprise the Niagara Ontario Health Team - Équipe Santé Ontario Niagara (NOHT-ESON).
Niagara’s three Assessment Centres - in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland – are changing their walk-in hours from 4:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
We are continuing to lift visitor restrictions and are now arranging indoor visits with residents and their loved ones at our Extended Care Unit (ECU) in Welland. In addition, two visitors at a time are now welcome for both indoor and outdoor visits.
