The Board members wanted to, in their own words, convey their immense gratitude for all our team is doing to provide high-quality care during the pandemic.

While there are many unsung heroes of the pandemic, our everyday heroes remain resilient: Niagara’s Mental Health Team. These extraordinary capable and caring professionals continue to navigate the growing, exponential demand of Niagara’s mental health needs, ranging from crisis intervention to ongoing client education and community support in a challenging COVID world. We need their continued leadership and humanity now more than ever. We are fortunate to have our Mental Health Team and all our community partners dedicated to working together. Here’s to their endless compassion and creativity in finding virtual solutions and real-time help!

I am incredibly proud of everyone at NH and so appreciative of the untiring courage, dedication and skill that our physicians and staff have and are continuing to provide to our communities during this most critical time. In doing so every day, they have exemplified the core values of NH – Extraordinary Caring, Every Person, Every Time. These are not merely words; now more than ever they embody the heart and spirit of NH and all of its people.

I am not only a board member but a mother of an EMS worker and every day I worry about what this is doing to him both functionally and emotionally. Even though he chose this profession, similar to our system staff. I don't believe anyone could have predicted this pandemic. This has resulted in so many changes to how we see our lives now and in the future. So thank you to our staff and the doctors for doing their very best. As a parent and not just a board member, we do care and worry about you all every day.
