Our Board of Directors wanted to share, in their own words, messages of support with Niagara Health staff and physicians for the exceptional work they are doing to provide high-quality care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here are some of their words of gratitude and appreciation. We will be sharing more of their supportive messages on Monday.

I am in awe of the work that has been done by the Niagara Health staff to care for your patients and protect yourselves and our families from this dreadful virus. Not only have you influenced the disease spread within your walls, but the outreach to community in so many ways has been incredible! I hear words of thanks and praise from community members and family members daily. Thank you all for the amazing work that you do.

COVID-19 has brought significant changes to the world. As a new member of Niagara Health Board of Directors, I am extremely grateful and proud of the exceptional response and extra dedication by NH’s staff, doctors, management and everyone associated with combatting this pandemic. Continuous ongoing efforts by NH’s Extraordinary Team makes Niagara region a safe place to live. Keep up the great work. Stay healthy, and let’s get through these trying times.

Saying ‘Thank you’ hardly seems enough to express the magnitude of the appreciation and gratitude that needs to be conveyed to the entire team at Niagara Health for the extraordinary caring and great work you have provided each day during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fact that you do this while putting yourselves at great risk is truly admirable. As Board Chair, I have never been prouder of our organization. Please know you continue to have the Board’s unwavering support and commitment during these difficult times.

I am proud of Niagara Health’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 threat to our individual and collective safety and health. I am proud of all of our staff teams in every area of the health system for their professionalism, determination, and commitment to doing the very best they can in difficult and sometimes dangerous situations. Particular thanks go to our Niagara Health leadership team that has tackled all challenges with a “We-will-get-this-done” attitude and determination. Thank you all.
