Niagara Health is a network of community teaching hospitals affiliated with McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, Niagara Regional Campus.
The Niagara Regional Campus (NRC) welcomes 28 undergraduate medical students in August of each year for its three-year MD program who participate in clinical placements across Niagara Health sites, as well as community clinics. The NRC also hosts three post-graduate programs in General Surgery, Family Medicine and Family Medicine/Emergency Medicine. In addition to the Niagara-based programs, Niagara Health supports a high volume of visiting undergraduate and postgraduate learners and allied health professional trainees from other McMaster sites, as well as students from other Canadian and international medical schools.
