Susanne has been a leading contributor to the advancement of Digital Health in Canada for over four decades. Susanne founded Healthtech Consultants in 1983 and over the next 36 years, Healthtech developed a track record serving as a trusted advisor to Canadian healthcare systems, providing strategic planning, and implementation of all of the major HIS vendor systems resulting in high levels of clinical adoption. Under her leadership, Healthtech became the leading Canadian provider of digital health consulting services winning numerous awards. The Globe and Mail honoured Healthtech with a No. 10 rank within the top 50 best medium employers in Canada. Susanne is now semi-retired and resides in Port Colborne. She acts as a strategic advisor for firms focused on the use of technology in healthcare and as an angel investor in innovative start-ups. Susanne has been a member of several technology related advisory boards, including the TECHNATION Health Board, where she served as Chair. She has also been a member of the Advisory Board of CanChild – a research and education center, focused on improving the lives of children and youth with disabilities.
