Dr. Satish Chawla is the Interim Executive Vice-President of Medical Affairs and Chief of Staff at Niagara Health.

In his role, Dr. Chawla ensures professional standards of practice and pathology are maintained across the organization. Specializing in the practice of pathology, his passion for quality assurance led him down the path of quality improvement and leadership.

Dr. Chawla completed medical school in Delhi, India and a pathology residency program at Dalhousie University. In addition to practicing pathology in Canada and the USA for more than 35 years, he has also served as the Secretary Treasurer for the Ontario Association of Pathologists and as a Council Member for the Ontario Medical Association.

In his leisure time, Dr. Chawla likes to spend quality time travelling with his wife, children and grandchildren.
