Dr. Madan Mohan Roy

Dr. Madan Mohan Roy is the Chief of Pediatrics at Niagara Health.

A distinguished pediatrician with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Roy oversees the clinical care and operations within the Pediatrics department. He has held similar leadership positions in other Ontario hospitals throughout his career and has an important role in initiating quality improvement partnerships with Niagara Health’s academic partners.

Dr. Roy received his medical education in Bangalore, India and trained in Pediatrics and Neonatology in the United Kingdom and Canada. Having been inspired by his love of children and feeling joy in healing them, Dr. Roy is keen on teaching and training a new generation of pediatricians. He currently holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at McMaster University’s Faculty of Health Sciences.

In his leisure time, Dr. Roy enjoys travelling, scuba diving and spending time with his family.
