Dr. Michael Levesque

Dr. Michael Levesque is the Chief of Oncology at Niagara Health and Medical Director of the Walker Family Cancer Centre (WFCC).

Since 2008, Dr. Levesque has worked with Niagara Health as an oncologist and has held numerous leadership positions during his tenure including Medical Head of Systemic Therapy, Gynecologic Oncology Site Lead and Genitourinary Cancers Site Lead.

Inspired by the expanding innovations in the field of oncology, Dr. Levesque is currently a member of the Cancer Care Ontario’s Regional Quality Safety Network, the Systemic Treatment Program Steering Committee, the Niagara Ontario Health Team – Équipe Santé Ontario Niagara (NOHT-ÉSON).

Dr. Levesque completed medical school and postgraduate training at the University of Toronto prior to receiving his Medical Oncology certification at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures.
