We are sending a very special thank you this year to our nurses during National Nursing Week (May 11 to 17). Niagara Health's more than 2,100 nurses work hard every day, amidst the challenges presented by COVID-19, to provide patients and families with extraordinary care.

During the pandemic, many of Niagara Health’s Mental Health and Addictions outpatient programs have moved to OTN (videoconferencing) and telephone calls, rather than face-to-face appointments, to protect patients, staff and physicians.
It’s the face-to-face interactions with many of her colleagues and patients that Dr. Maxine Lewis misses most while working during the pandemic.
