COVID-19 outbreak declared over on Unit C at the Niagara Falls Site
A COVID-19 outbreak on Unit C at Niagara Health’s Niagara Falls Site has been declared over. A total of two healthcare associated COVID-19 cases were identified during this outbreak, which was declared on December 23, 2021 and ended yesterday.

COVID-19 outbreak declared on Unit 5A at the St. Catharines Site
In addition, an outbreak of COVID-19 on Unit 5A at the St. Catharines Site was declared on Wednesday, Jan. 5 as a result of three healthcare-associated infections.
All of our COVID-19 protocols are in place. Our Infection Prevention and Control team is working closely with Niagara Region Public Health and our Occupational Health and Safety team to bring a safe end to the outbreak as quickly as possible.
