An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared on the Trillium Unit at the Niagara Falls Site as the result of 13 healthcare-associated cases involving patients.
The outbreak was declared on Saturday, December 25, 2021. All of our COVID-19 protocols are in place. Our Infection Prevention and Control team is working closely with Niagara Region Public Health and our Occupational Health and Safety team to bring a safe end to the outbreak as quickly as possible.
Visitors and Essential Care Partners are not permitted on the unit at this time unless an exception is made by the clinical team.
