An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared today on inpatient Unit C at the Niagara Falls Site as a result of two healthcare-associated cases involving two patients.
All of our COVID-19 protocols are in place. Our Infection Prevention and Control team is working closely with Niagara Region Public Health and our Occupational Health and Safety team to bring a safe end to the outbreak as quickly as possible.
Visitors and Essential Care Partners (ECP) are not permitted on the unit at this time unless an exception is made by the clinical team.
