The Niagara Health assessment centre in St. Catharines is extending its hours twice a week starting on Oct. 19 to increase appointment availability. The drive-in centre will take appointments for a COVID-19 test from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Here are the new hours for the St. Catharines assessment centre:
- Open Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Open Wednesday and Friday through Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There is no change to the Niagara Falls assessment centre, which is open Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Make an appointment for a COVID-19 test if you are:
Experiencing COVID-19 symptoms;
Have been exposed to a confirmed case of the virus, as informed by a public health unit or exposure notification through the COVID Alert app;
A resident or work in a setting that has a COVID-19 outbreak, as identified and informed by the local public health unit;
Eligible for testing as part of a targeted testing initiative directed by the Ministry of Health or the Ministry of Long-Term Care.
Please arrive at the designated appointment time and do not come early.
