Niagara Health is reminding the community that visitors to our sites must wear a mask at all times while in the hospital to ensure our sites remain a safe environment for everyone.
This includes:
- In all public spaces, including elevators and waiting room areas.
- In patient rooms, whether it’s private or shared.
- In the presence of healthcare worker.
We must recognize that COVID-19 cases are increasing in the community and in the hospital, and adhering to public health measures are key to limiting the spread of the virus. In addition to wearing a mask, we ask visitors to clean their hands often and practice physical distancing to keep everyone safe.
