We are reminding the community that beginning today the drive-through service at our COVID-19 Assessment Centre in St. Catharines has ended.
People needing a COVID test can access the centre through the dedicated entrance, located behind the Walker Family Cancer Centre in the Outpatient Mental Health area at our St. Catharines Site. They are asked to wait in their car upon arrival until they receive a call from the Assessment Centre team. If they do not have a cellphone or arrive without a vehicle, patients are asked to come to the door and wait outside until a staff member greets them.
We know people are sometimes unable to attend their appointments and need to cancel or rebook. We encourage people to please reach out to us and cancel their appointment in advance so we can fill the testing spots with other patients.
If someone used our online booking tool, they can click on the link in their confirmation email to cancel the appointment. If they called the Assessment Centre team to book their appointment, we ask that they please call us at 905-378-4647 ext. 42819 (4-CV19) to cancel and rebook, if needed.
