In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the Niagara community, Madelyn Kriese wanted to find a way to express her gratitude to our staff and physicians working on the front lines.
The Shaw Festival actor can typically be found on the theatre stage, but with performances cancelled due to the pandemic, she decided to take her talent and share it directly with our team at Niagara Health.
In a heartfelt video thanking our team, Madelyn sings her own rendition of "Better Together" by Jack Johnson, which represents the feeling of togetherness during a physically distanced world.
"Although we aren’t physically together right now, I've felt a strong connection to others in how we've come together as a community to do what's necessary and help flatten the curve," says Madelyn. "On behalf of my friends and colleagues at the Shaw, we are immensely grateful for the Niagara Health team and your dedication and care of the Niagara community."
