We’re still on time and on budget!
How quickly time has passed since April 28, 2009 when we broke ground for our new hospital!
With only 207 days until we get the keys (a milestone also known as substantial completion), construction continues on budget and on schedule!
Before the majority of equipment and furniture arrives to completed areas, we’ve begun compliance reviews of architectural finishes, with over 127 reviews scheduled to take place between now and September, 2012.
Turning the building into a hospital
Beyond construction, we are focused on the work needed to transform the building into a hospital.
This has included over eight areas participating in LEAN-2P process events to map out flow in the new build, over 50 construction tours, creation of training and orientation learning maps, and the recruitment of coordinators to look after move plans, equipment, ICT, among others.
