Since 1958, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital Auxiliary has invited the community to support its spring fundraising event. What started as a “Dessert Bridge Party” in the home of long-serving member, Helen Dawson, has grown to a luncheon and “Games Party” where all forms of games are welcomed. This year, over 100 people will attend the event on Friday, April 27th from 11:30am until 3:30 pm at the Community Centre, and enjoy a light lunch followed by an afternoon of card and board games.
The 2012 fundraiser promises to be one of the most successful thanks to the generous sponsorship of local organizations and businesses. The Auxiliary is proud to welcome Corks Restaurant and Wine Bar as the 2012 Premier Sponsor as well as 20 Table Sponsors who generously provided cash and in-kind contributions. Thanks to their sponsorship and the funds raised from ticket sales, the Auxiliary will be able to complete its purchase of bedside tables for every patient room in the Hospital.
