Every 10 minutes, someone in Canada has a stroke. Protect yourself and your loved ones by coming to a health education evening titled Stroke – What You Need to Know. Health professionals will explain the signs and symptoms of stroke, the importance of calling 911, treatment offered by the Niagara District Stroke Centre at Greater Niagara General Site, the inpatient care team, and local follow-up counselling and support for stroke patients and their families.
