Niagara, Ontario: The news media is invited to join representatives of the Niagara Health System (NHS) as they officially mark Nursing Week May 10 to 16.
Recognition events during the week include a Nursing Breakfast, Nursing Dinner, Celebration Teas at each of our seven sites and Nursing Excellence Awards. Awards are being given out at the Nursing Breakfast to recipients who have been nominated by their peers from across Niagara.
Nursing Breakfast, Tuesday, May 11
Welland Site Cafeteria, Third Street, Welland
- 8 a.m. – Breakfast
- 8:45 a.m. – Nursing Awards presented to seven recipients from across Niagara
- 9 a.m. – Keynote address by Sara Lankshear, President, Relevé Consulting Services, on the topic So, why did you choose to be a nurse anyway?
As part of National Nursing Week, the annual Nursing Report has been published and showcases a number of important nursing initiatives.
