Niagara, ON - Representatives of the news media are invited to join representatives of the Niagara Health System (NHS) as they officially mark Nursing Week May 12 to the 18.
Recognition events during the week include a Nursing Breakfast, Nursing Dinner and Trivia Night, Celebration Teas at each of our seven sites, and Nursing Excellence Awards. Awards will be given out at the Nursing Breakfast to 10 recipients from across the NHS who have been nominated by their peers. The Breakfast is an opportunity to bring health-care partners together from a local, provincial and national perspective.

- 7:30 a.m. – Buffet breakfast
- 8 a.m. – Keynote address by NHS Interim Chief Nursing Executive Donna Rothwell on Professionalism – The Essence of Nursing
- 8:30 a.m. – Nursing Awards given out to 10 recipients from across Niagara
