- Order one modality for a single indication
- Ensure you complete all of the required fields to facilitate a quick booking turn around time for your patient
- To ensure your patient is correctly prioritized for imaging, please include a detailed clinical history and relevant previous images
Strategies to support patients during increased wait times:
- Explore alternate facilities offering shorter wait times, if appropriate. If your patient’s health condition changes before their scheduled examination, escalate the urgency of the referral by reaching out directly to our Medical Imaging team.
- In this time of increased demand for imaging and health human resource shortages, we ask that you are diligent in assessing your imaging referrals for true urgency/priority.
