Mary Maida is a senior fundraising executive with more than 20 years of experience. She has excelled in various leadership roles within the non-profit sector. Her career spans social services, environment, education, faith-based organizations, healthcare and heritage with expertise in capital campaigns, major gift acquisitions, grant writing and strategic planning.
Mary began in non-profit consulting, transitioning to the private sector, and later returning to client work before taking key positions with Community Living St. Catharines and Hospice Niagara. She is currently the Director of Development at The Brown Homestead. Mary also serves on the District School Board of Niagara’s School Board Special Education Advisory Committee and as a Patient Partner with the Niagara Health Engagement Network (NHEN) since 2019. She is an active member of the Niagara Fundraiser’s Network.
Mary resides in Fonthill with her daughter. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph and is enrolled in the L.E.A.D.R. leadership development training program through Crestcom International.
