Catherine is a retired executive with a background in governance, finance and technology in the financial services, healthcare and education sectors. She has held senior finance positions with CIBC, Canada Life and AVIVA Insurance in Canada, USA and Europe. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and spent several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has led large multinational technology projects.
Catherine has experience with both non-profit and public company boards and related committees. She is a past member of the board for Westpark Hospital and for CCAC North York in Toronto. She currently serves as a board member for the National Sanitarium Association, a foundation incorporated in 1897 with a mandate of funding innovative research into respiratory disease.
Catherine is a member of the Community Wellness Committee of the Town of Niagara on the Lake. She has served as Executive in Residence and assisted with scholarship fundraising for the Ivey School at Western University, London, Ontario. She is a graduate of the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Catherine and her husband Gordon reside in Niagara on the Lake.
