Timothy is Niagara Health's first baby of 2019

Timothy's early arrival proved to be perfect timing.

Timothy was born at 4:52 a.m. on New Year's Day, making him Niagara Health’s first baby of 2019.

First-time parents Sarah, 27, and Leo  31, of Thorold, were all smiles later in the day as they discussed what it meant to welcome the first baby of 2019.

“It’s exciting to become parents,” says Sarah, who was due on Jan. 8.

“It’s a gift,” adds Leo. “It feels really good.”

Timothy came into the world at 8 pounds, three ounces at our St. Catharines Site's Women's and Babies' Unit.

Congratulations, Sarah, Leo and Timothy!
