Open house puts spotlight on redevelopment possibilities for St. Catharines General Site

Posted Mar 20th, 2008

NIAGARA, ON: The public is invited to attend an open house hosted by the Queenston Community Advisory Committee in partnership with Niagara Health System (NHS) to outline ideas for future redevelopment of the St. Catharines General (SCG) Site.

The open house will be an opportunity for the public to review, discuss and provide input on conceptual plans and development scenarios for the redevelopment of the SCG property.

The SCG Site will be vacant following completion of the new community hospital in west St. Catharines, and the Advisory Committee has been meeting since 2004 to provide the NHS with input and direction in planning for other uses and/or redevelopment of the hospital site.

The Open House will take place Monday, March 31, 2008

At Westminster United Church Hall
180 Queenston Street St. Catharines

Drop in sessions: 3-5 p.m., 6-8 p.m.
Presentation: 7 - 7:30 p.m.
