Posted Dec 8th, 2010

Niagara, ON: Members of the media are invited to join Cancer Care Ontario President and CEO Terry Sullivan as he tours the Walker Family Cancer Centre construction site and talks about how the new provincial action plan for cancer services will impact Niagara.

Among those attending from Niagara Health System’s Oncology Program are Vice President Patient Services Linda Boich, Medical Director Dr. Janice Giesbrecht and Director Carol Potvin.

The tour will take place Monday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the site of the new health complex and cancer centre, located at the corner of Fourth Avenue and First Street in St. Catharines.

Due to space limitations and safety reasons, media participants must RSVP in advance to confirm their attendance. All visitors must participate in a brief safety orientation (beginning at 10 a.m.) and wear personal protective equipment which will be provided.

Please enter construction site from Gate 2 off First Street, veer immediately to the left to the office parking lot and park in spaces reserved for the Project Management Team or for Visitors. Meet at Meeting Trailer (shown in diagram below).
